Methods

2. RESEARCH QUESTION(S):

2.1 Research question being addressed

To find out what the salt concentration in the water is optimal for brine shrimp hatched.

2.2 Hypotheses

The hypothesis is the higher the salt concentration, the higher the number of shrimp eggs hatched.

2.2.1 Independent variable

The independent variable is the amount of salt added into the water.

2.2.2 Dependent variable

The number of empty eggs floating on the surface.

2.2.3 Controlled variables

(a)  The amount of water.
(b)  The number of eggs.
2.3 How is this based on the rationale described above?
The amount of salt added in the water will affect the number of eggs hatched, and this will be used to find out the optimal number of salt that needs to be inserted into the water.

3.    Method
